SRFSI Partnerships

Partnerships assist SRFSI in providing a wide range of finsncial products and services to the Community and its members. Here are some of the partnerships that we have:

TruWest Credit Union

The Personal Loan Assistance program is intended to also bridge lending gaps for Community members. TruWest is a committed partner with the Community. Vehicle loans and unsecured signature loans will eventually be available throught the Personal Loan Assistance Program.

Community Housing Resources of Arizona

A non profit credit counseling agency. The Salt River Community Housing Division has been in partnership with CHRA for approximately 6 years. CHRA provides credit and budget counseling for all loan applicants, regardless of credit standing. CHRA will also provide post closing counseling after the home owner moves into the house to insure their budget is consistent with their new house payment. In addition, CHRA will act as a mediator and will be part of any default prevention counseling as needed.

Fannie Mae

Fannie Mae will be the secondary market partner for the CDFI. This partnership will allow the CDFI to sell its loans to generate revenue. A special agreement will be made to insure the CDFI retains servicing of all loans and is able to continue accepting monthly payments from the home owner.

Salt River Community Housing Division

The Salt River Community Housing Division (SRCHD) will act as a partner by referring renters and others to the CDFI. Both Divisions will continue to share the vision of providing stable foundations through renting or home ownership opportunities to Community Members. Community awareness and education will also be shared by both Divisions. Open communication and strategic planning will be an integral part of future subdivisions, transitional housing and multi family units and will be a common goal for the CDFI and SRCHD.
